NAS -- Network Attached Storage

I have a WD worldbook edition NAS. It is not a prefect electronic gadgets. The speeds for reading and writing are poor, reach a maximum of 3mb or 500kb respectively. The best feature of this NAS is that it is powered with a vintage linux kernel. There are hacks on ssh, file server, media server etc
