First look of Fedora 14

The official release was out. I can’t resist the itchiness of Fedora 14. Thus, I migrated to Fedora 14 via preupgrade. The process is smooth. after installation, I tested a few item, such as twinkle, ekiga, jpilot etc, all worked well. Well Done Fedora 14!!

Fedora 14 is officially released, but only livecd for gnome, kde, etc available.

Fedora 14 is not officially released yet, but the livecd is available at http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/. I downloaded the livecd and boot up via VirtualBox. Well, not much difference by looking.

Here are a few screenshots

1. boot up

2. Desktop login

3. Desktop and application view (kernel is 2.6.35.6)
