Nice android apps for Samsung Galaxy S I9000

So far, I am pretty happy with my new toy “Samsung Galaxy S I9000”. After playing, touching,  apart from apps included in Android 2.2 (awaiting for 2.3 update), I accumulated a basket of nice android apps

MyPhoneExplorer, the best of best ones. sync with PC. need install both PC and android phone clients, can be connected via USB, wifi, bluetooth etc.

Android Sync Manager, another best toy, it can synchronize contacts, messages, calander with PC via wifi connection. In fact, I use both sync toys on linux box bridged via VirtualBox.

File Expert nice file manager, can change fine extension name

Opera Mini nice alternative web browser

Rmaps good BYI gps, you can created you map using google map

百度地图 nice chinese maps (can download offline maps)

Jorte text editor nice simple text editor

Palm OS keyring nice password manager, can import keyring from palm

Backup Everything as the title claimed, can restore many stuff

Linphone nice android voip client, works with my voip provider (Mynetfone)

Mynetfone native client for my voip provider (Mynetfone)

ColorDict nice free dictionaries (wordnet,chinese etc) for offline or lookup wikipedia if networked.

ColorNotes nice note client, recent development includes backup and restore to your sd card, sync online (not my favourate)

Offline dictionary as the name claimed, works offline

Net Swiss nice net tools, ping, nmap etc

Net ping ping for network test

connectBot login to your desktop or servers with ssh
